Terms of Service

1. Agreement

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and UnBoringSpot ("we", "us", or "our"). By accessing or using the website, playground, or API, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, and able to enter into a binding contract. If you use the service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

3. The service

UnBoringSpot provides an inference API and a browser-based playground for open models. Features, models, limits, and availability may change. The service is free and open for production use until Dec 1, 2026; see our FAQ for what happens after.

4. Accounts and access

The service is free and open for production use until Dec 1, 2026, with no account or API key required. From Dec 1, 2026, accounts and API keys will be required, and we may approve, limit, or decline access, and suspend or close accounts to protect the service or comply with the law.

Once accounts are required, you must provide accurate information and keep your account credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account and must tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access. Free allowances and promotional credits have no cash value, may expire, and may be changed or withdrawn. Abuse of free access may result in suspension.

5. API keys and security

You are responsible for keeping your API keys confidential and for all activity that occurs using them. Do not share keys publicly, commit them to source control, or embed them in client-side code. If you believe a key has been compromised, stop using it and contact us.

6. Acceptable use

You may not use the service to:

• Violate any law, regulation, or third-party right.
• Infringe intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights.
• Generate or distribute malware, phishing content, or other harmful code.
• Harass, threaten, or abuse others, or facilitate violence or self-harm.
• Circumvent rate limits, authentication, safety controls, or billing.
• Probe, scan, overload, or disrupt the service or its infrastructure.
• Process sensitive personal data or regulated data without a lawful basis.
• Resell or redistribute the service except as expressly permitted by us.

We may investigate suspected violations and suspend or terminate access to protect the service, our users, or third parties.

7. Your content

You retain ownership of the content you submit to the service. You grant us a limited license to process that content solely to provide, secure, and improve the service, as described in our Privacy Policy. You represent that you have all rights needed to submit the content and that doing so does not violate any law or third-party right.

Generated output may be similar to output generated for others. You are responsible for reviewing output before relying on it, and for ensuring your use of it complies with applicable law and third-party rights.

8. Our intellectual property

The service, including the website, software, branding, and documentation, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any right to our trademarks or other brand features.

9. Fees

The service does not charge fees while it is free and open, until Dec 1, 2026. If paid usage is introduced after that date, rates will be published before they take effect and may change with reasonable notice. You are responsible for applicable taxes. Except where required by law, fees are non-refundable.

10. Availability and changes

We aim to keep the service available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features, models, or the service as a whole. Unless a separate written agreement says otherwise, we do not provide a service-level commitment.

11. Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, and quiet enjoyment. We do not warrant that output will be accurate, complete, or suitable for your use case.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, UnBoringSpot will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunity, even if advised of the possibility. Our total liability for all claims relating to the service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim or one hundred US dollars. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

13. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless UnBoringSpot and its officers, employees, and agents from claims, damages, losses, and expenses arising from your content, your use of the service, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

14. Termination

You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, create risk for the service or others, or if we discontinue the service. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will continue to apply.

15. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable at UnBoringSpot's principal place of business, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be brought in the courts located there, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

16. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when they were last revised. If you continue using the service after an update, you agree to the revised Terms.
